Bringing the tropics north...

This sunroom had the bones to make a beautiful retreat: big windows with views of the woods, a beautiful floor and a fabulous bamboo furniture set. The biggest problem was that the room was bottom heavy -- everything was at eye level or below. A warm wall color and new fabrics on the cushions created the sense of cool peacefulness that this space was lacking. A hand painted border at ceiling height brings the eye upwards and balances the space.
